Our Story
Foundation Bible Church in Janesville began in 2002, originally meeting as a house church, then at a hotel. In June of 2008, we purchased our current building at 1805 Foster Ave in Janesville, WI. Dan Wolf and Dave Wolf are our Pastors.

Dan Wolf
Pastor
Pastor Dan grew up right here in Janesville. He is married to his best friend, Yumi, and feels super-blessed with three wonderful adult daughters: Megumi (“Grace”), Chie (“Wisdom”), and Aiko (“Child of Love”), and his (equally wonderful) teenage son, Aaron.
Dave Wolf
Pastor
While Studying to be a pastor Dave was drafted during the Vietnam War. Now years later, after retiring from General Motors his life has come full circle and he’s pastoring Foundation with his son Dan. Sometimes life is strange but it’s all good! Dave is also a big-time Packer fan.

Jerry Koepke
Deacon
Deacon Jerry and his wife Kelly live in Milton, WI and have two girls, Emma and Sadie. Jerry serves the church as treasurer, maintenance guy, and sound tech. In his time outside Foundation, Jerry serves on the board of a local youth ministry serving Rock County, which he has been involved with since he was in it as a kid and began his faith journey. Jerry also enjoys working on classic muscle cars and motorcycles as well as hunting.
Stephen Pickering
Deacon
Deacon Stephen is married to his wife, Cameron. They stay busy working on their house and raising their five kids — Naomi, Elijah, Gabriel, Miriam, and Simon. Stephen loves drawing, filmmaking, and everything creative. He co-owns Drywater Productions. Faith has been a cornerstone of his life since accepting Christ as a child, and that foundation continues to guide everything he does.
Johne Cook
Deacon
Deacon Johne Cook came to faith at age ten during a revival service at the 4H County Fairgrounds when a traveling evangelist passed through his hometown. Since then, his desire has been simple: to follow Christ faithfully and serve where there is a need. He has been active at Foundation for over 20 years, serving much of that time as Secretary and then Deacon in 2025. Johne has been married to Linda for nearly 40 years. Together, they have raised two children, Ashlei and Ean, and are now grateful grandparents to Nathan, Lukas, and Addison.
